Post Reader: Turma da Mônica Jovem # 9
The Renan Lima sent me over a review he did of Monica's Gang Young, this time the ninth edition. The TMJ was well frail arch "The Brightness of a Pulsar, but it seems that things are improving. And it is good that the quality of the magazine up, is coming because there's magazine Teen Lulu! Pfffft, it is clear that this magazine will not get anywhere near the number of sales of Monica's Gang Young, for various reasons, but Uarévaa, go to the review!
As soon as I saw the cover with Monica princess, onion back with jealousy and a handsome prince, think twice before buying this edition. After the weak arc "The Brightness of a Pulsar", it might be a bad idea to buy that issue # 9. But do not judge a book by its cover, right?
With a style "Adventures of Day by Day", this was the best issue so far! Had a bit of everything: adventure, excitement, and good jokes top it off. The errors were corrected exaggerated slang and all the characters had their space, the focus was not only in Monica. Perhaps that was the biggest hit. With all the characters present no restriction to a specific audience, as happened in issue # 5.
Another good thing was the return of priceless jokes Monica's Gang. The meta-jokes (where the characters zoam to be even cartoon characters) were headed by Xaveco, who spent the whole adventure trying to have a major role. Okay, Xaveco, you had 17 lines on the issue (^^)! But the best issue for me was the "geek moment" when Carmen made cosplay Princess "Zilda, and Denise is not vexed by the protagonist, even when dressed Link! RAXEI!
Now I would emphasize one thing: the story leaves impression Purple Onion is just jealous of Toni, the leading man of 15 years. So Toni reveals that it was the same villain, it was Tonhão Street Low! I think every player at the time thought: WTF!? The script even surprised. It was more exciting than the fight of Monica and Princess Mimi.
But wait, if Mauritius did Tonhão, may not take much for Chico Bento also appear! Really? Deserves.
A Turma da Mônica Jovem redeemed himself with this issue. Deu pra mostar side teenager who both spoke to Mauritius, and did much more. Congratulations!
